Introduction
PRO LIGNO is an open gate for international dissemination of scientific papers on topics related to wood science and engineering. Only original papers are accepted, presenting results of recent researches, as well as reviews and technical notes. Papers with a practical-applicative character in industry are mostly appreciated. All papers are peer-reviewed, considering that this is the most successful type of scientific publishing.
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published elsewhere, is not under review elsewhere and open-access publication of the full-text article has been approved by all authors.
Legal requirements
The author(s) is/are responsible for the accuracy of the whole paper and references.
The author(s) guarantee(s) that the manuscript is/will not be published in any other international journal in any language without the consent of the copyright holders, the rights of third parties will not be violated, and the publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
Authors wishing to include figures or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
Editorial procedure
In order to publish a paper in PRO LIGNO, please send your article as .doc format (please do not use .docx), to the following address: campean@unitbv.ro, together with a Copyright Transfer Agreement. This transfer enables the Editor to protect the copyrighted material for the authors, but does not relinquish the authors' proprietary rights. The publication of an article is conditioned by the signature of the author to whom correspondence should be addressed on this form.
and a Cover Letter signed by all authors, stating:
- that all the authors mutually agree that the article should be submitted to PRO LIGNO, to be published with open-access to full-text ;
- that all the authors mutually agree to the publishing of their personal data (name, surname, affiliation, address of institution, Email address) as part of the scientific article format;
- that it is the original work of the authors;
- the novelty in results/findings, or significance of results.
Authors will be notified promptly about the manuscript registration and the ID-number of the manuscript, to be used in further correspondence. If you do not receive this notification within two working days, please E-mail us again. However, please note that receiving the notification of registration is not equivalent to the paper acceptance for publication. Only the peer review process will decide on this matter. Peer-review is estimated to be performed within 4-6 weeks. As soon as it is accomplished, the authors will receive the peer-review result. In case of an in-favor decision, the editor will also inform you on the deadline for submitting the final (revised, if applicable) paper, in order to be included in the closest possible issue. After translating and formatting your paper, the editors will send you the article proof for final check and ready-for-print validation.
Page charge
There is no charge per printed page.
Reprints
Authors are provided with an electronic reprint of the paper, as multi-page .pdf file, containing the journal cover, contents and full-text paper.
