From the large range of furniture produced nowadays, the book presents a modern category, namely modular furniture, made of composite panels (from mixed hardwood lamellas, veneered chipboard and melamine faced chipboard). For this type of furniture, the technical and technological documentation is presented, beginning with the first phase of designing the product, which contains the phase of concept, product dimensioning and the assembly drawing, and continuing with the establishing of the necessary technologies and the production design.
The book is a guide, both for students and for the furniture manufacturers.

"1000 Legni" was conceived as an easy-to-consult collection of woods from around the world, with samples scanned directly from original sections. Gianni Cantarutti is the globe-trotting wood expert who has put together this handy square-format book to convey, in about 1,300 images taken from his xylotheque, all the emotions that this quintessentially natural material evokes.
Printed low environmental impact paper and unique of its kind, 1000 legni classifies woods by their eco-compatibility, quality and provenance using three traffic-light signals - red, yellow and green - that indicate possible uses.
This original, vivid and accessible book is dedicated to wood experts, architects, ecologists, lovers of elegant books, the curious and anyone concerned about nature and the environment.
