Abstract: The quality of a product is defined through a high processing accuracy, obtained as a result of the technological process. The processing accuracy depends on the state of equipment, devices and tools, which are significant indicators for a producer regarding the state of its own technological process. They may also indicate when it is time to verify and eventually change the equipment in order to maintain the accuracy requested by the norms and the technical specifications in force, or by the final user.
This paper presents the possibilities of the Laboratory of Testing the Processing Accuracy in Wood Industry from Transilvania University of Brasov to test the processing accuracy of parts and components made of wood or wood-based materials, specific to wood industry or constructions, by means of a modern equipment - the CADesQ table - which the above mentioned laboratory is endowed with.
In order to give an example, the working method with this equipment is described, as well as some results obtained whilst testing the processing accuracy of a component of a knock-down piece of furniture - baby bed end panel - made of solid beech wood.

Key words: processing accuracy, linear measurement, straightness, flatness, distance between axes, rectangularity, hole depth.
