ABSORBTIA SI EFICIENTA ULEIULUI DE MOTOR UZAT FOLOSIT CA PRODUS DE PROTECTIE A LEMNULUI

Rezumat:
         Acest
studiu investigheaza metodele de imbunatatire
a absorbtiei de catre lemn uleiului de motor uzat.
S-au procurat probe din lemn de Gmelina arborea,
Terminalia superba, si Ceiba pentandra si au fost
taiate in epruvete cu dimensiunile de 35mm x 35mm
x 220mm. Epruvetele au fost cantarite si impartite
in doua seturi. Un set a fost incizat iar celalalt
set neincizat. Toate probele au fost uscate in
etuva la 103±20C, s-au notat masele lor in stare
anhidra si au fost tratate cu ulei de motor uzat
utilizand tratarea la cald, imersia la rece si
metoda pensularii. Probele tratate au fost, de
asemenea, expuse la atacul termitelor.
         Rezultatele
au aratat ca absorbtia procentuala medie in lemnul
tratat in prealabil (incizat si neincizat) a fost
de 13.6% si respectiv 11.6%. Rezultatele analizei
absorbtiilor medii procentuale au aratat diferente
semnificative intre tratarea in prealabil a lemnului,
metoda de aplicare si consumul specific al fiecarei
specii lemnoase. Incizarea probelor din lemn a
determinat cresterea consumului specific, dar
si structura anatomica a speciilor a avut un efect
semnificativ asupra ratei absorbtiei. Clasificarea
ASTM a aratat ca folosirea uleiului de motor uzat
este o metoda de protectie prin tratare la cald
care confera o protectie suficienta impotriva
termitelor.
