     The book, structured in three chapters, aims to highlight the importance of wood in Romanian people's life, since ancient time until today. The first chapter offers information regarding the laic architecture (houses and their annexes) and the religious one. The next chapter refers to rustic technical installations used to process the wood, metals, textiles and food.
